Jaldapara Jungle Camp is located on NH-31, near Reliance petrol pump, Madrihat in New Jalpaiguri. It is about 3 kilometers from the entrance gate of Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary, 2 kilometers from Madarihat Railway Station and 135 kilometers from Bagdogra Airport.
The Jaldapara Sanctuary spread across 216 square kilometers, is a mosaic of woods, grasslands, perennial streams, sandy river banks and extensive belts of tall grass. It contains a great diversity of flora and fauna of mixed deciduous forest, grasslands and river banks. The Jaldapara Jungle Camp situated in Alipurduar Sub-Division of Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal, is home to a wide variety of wildlife, particularly the great Indian one horned rhino. River Torsha flows through this rainforest sanctuary which is mostly covered with tall grasses. The Malangi river also flows nearby from east to west. Elephant ride is the only way to explore this forest.
You will be staying in a cozy wooden camp equipped with basic amenities such as satellite television, a comfortable bed, a side table and an attached bath among others.
