4 Days Bhutan Tour

Day 1 : Arrive Paro

Meeting & assistance on arrival and transfer to Thimphu. Overnight Hotel Phuntsho Pelri or Hotel Wangchuk or similar, Thimphu.

Day 2 : Paro - Thimphu (55 km, 2 hours)

Morning visit to National Library, School of Arts & Crafts and Textile & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit to Handicrafts Emporium, Memorial Chorten (stupa) and Nunnery. In the evening drive back to Paro. Overnight Hotel Olathang or similar, Paro.

Day 3 : Paro

Morning visit to Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress from where Bhutanese repelled several invasion by Tibetan armies. On a clear day, there is splendid view of Mount. Chomolhari from the approach road to the Dzong. Later visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong which has a long and fascinating history. Overnight Hotel Olathang or similar, Paro.

Day 4 : Depart Paro

Morning transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.

Services Included
AP (American Plan) - airport transfers, accommodation on twin sharing basis, all meals (bed tea, breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening tea), sightseeing as per itinerary, guide, entrances.
MAP (Modified American Plan) - airport transfers, accommodation on twin sharing basis, meals (bed tea, breakfast, evening tea, dinner), sightseeing as per itinerary, guide, entrances.
CP (Continental Plan) - airport transfers, accommodation on twin sharing basis, sightseeing as per itinerary, entrance.

Note 1 :
Ta Dzong (National Museum) is closed on Mondays and National Holidays. Its opening time is Tue - Sat : 9 a.m to 4 p.m and Sun : 11 a.m to 4 p.m. Entrance fees Rs. 50/ per person.
School of Arts & Crafts : visit possible in afternoon 2 - 4 p.m (Mon-Fri) and 9-12 a.m (Sat). It is closed in winter from 17 Dec till 10 Mar.
Guide charges would be Rs. 800/- per day for CP package.
The above itinerary is subject to change for convenience of applying route permit for Dochula pass.

Note 2 :
For Indian Nationals, Visa is not required. They will be given permit at the immigration point for which they will require 2 passport sized photographs and identification (like passport or voters ID.
The package rates are based on hotels : which are classified as A CLASS as per Department of Tourism - Bhutan classification and comprable to 3*+++ standard)
